Privacy policy
We sell data sovereignty, so we describe our own data handling with the same precision we expect from any vendor. Last updated July 20, 2026.
What this website collects
- Nothing, by default. This site loads no third-party scripts, no analytics trackers, no advertising pixels, and no external fonts. Browsing is not tracked or profiled.
- Campaign attribution, locally. If you arrive via a link with campaign parameters (UTM tags, ad click IDs), we store those parameters — plus the referring site and landing page — in your own browser’s local storage. This data leaves your browser only if you submit a form, so we can know how you found us.
- What you submit. Contact, resource-download, and newsletter forms collect what you type: name, email, company, phone (optional), your message, and your region selection, together with the attribution described above.
- Embedded videos load nothing by default. Some posts include YouTube videos as click-to-play placeholders. No request is made to YouTube until you press play; playback then uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced (youtube-nocookie) mode, and YouTube’s own privacy policy applies from that point.
- Region preference. Your CA/US toggle choice is kept in local storage so the site remembers it. It is not transmitted anywhere on its own.
Where submitted data goes
Form submissions are transmitted to our customer-relationship system, hosted by HighLevel Inc. (LeadConnector), a US-based CRM provider, where they are stored under our account and used to respond to you. We are candid about this: our own marketing website’s inquiry pipeline uses a conventional cloud CRM. The sovereign-infrastructure guarantees we design for clients apply to client deployments — where confidential material runs on hardware the client owns — not to this public contact form. Accordingly: do not include privileged, personal health, or otherwise regulated information in a website form. Tell us the shape of the problem; save the substance for a call under NDA.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and, if relevant, prepare for a conversation.
- To send the newsletter you explicitly opted into. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link; consent is recorded with a timestamp (CASL compliance).
- To understand which channels bring visitors (the campaign attribution you submit with a form).
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their marketing. We send no SMS without separate express consent.
Retention and your rights
We keep inquiry records while a conversation is live or reasonably likely to resume, and delete on request. Under PIPEDA, Quebec Law 25, and equivalent provincial and US state law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Email hello@chels.ai with “Privacy request” in the subject line; we respond within 30 days.
